Hello, everyone!
I hope your summer is going splendid and a happy, safe and productive 2021-2022 school year to our youth!
I'm just giving a friendly update and getting used to posting on this website more than my platforms on DeviantArt, Tumblr or Instagram etc. So, with that I'll share what's been going on.
Commissions have been going excellent! I have a good line-up of projects to go through for next week or so, and I'm getting back into the rhythm of pacing myself with each project. However, the small draw back is advertisement of my works.
Now, I'm going to come clean and admit I have tried "Fiverr" and I have tried "UpWork" at least twice each. Unfortunately, neither have proven themselves reliable, especially for an aspiring creator such as myself. I disliked the fact that I have a given amount credits on each website to reach out to a potential client, and am convinced that at this point I need to do things the old fashioned way via emails and instant messaging through apps.
Yes, that option is quite a hassle and eats up time I could be doing working on projects. However, the upside of that option is that I enjoy the fact that I am building my own network of clients and not relying on a third party to do it for me.
At this point I would love to hear some feedback from you all on how I can improve on expanding my business. You all are free to send me messages or emails! I'm open to whatever suggestions you have.
Now, to wrap this up with a more comedic spin.
You know what the most annoying, unspoken thing that some artists on the internet deal with? Messages from bots… "Inappropriate" bots if you catch my drift.
To be frank, I find this extremely annoying especially when I am eagerly waiting to hear back from a client, and the flood of spam from said bots can be extremely aggravating and… discouraging in a weird way.
Hence why this website is here, to rule out the "odd advertisements" trying to distract me from contacting people. I am happy I finally made this decision, I feel cozy here, it's organized. Like a "tiny home" in my home.
I'm not sponsored, but if you are an aspiring writer, artist, musician, or blogger, build a website so people can contact you and see what you have to share to the world. You can use Wix, but there are other options out there that are just as good or have different features that would help you.
Anyways, with that being said, I need to get back to work.
Thanks for your support guys!
OH! P.S. Process videos will be published here soon since YouTube is getting "anal" about - well… Everything! And Rumble is still new with a lot of bugs. So, I figured this would be a great place to share my videos.
Okay, I must create now. Later!
