Hello my lovelies! I hope everyone is doing great today.
I have some great news! I ordered a repair kit for my iPhone about a week back and it finally arrived and we are ready to go! This is going to be my first major "do it yourself" project.
Now, I'm going to come clean here: I'm not tech savvy. I've never repaired anything in my life other than a stubborn Wacom pen with a bent coil. However, if there's anything I am good at is following instructions visually and orally. So, that can help me out. I mean how do you think I came this far in my art career - true I'm self-taught, but I learned by watching others first. I studied phone repair tutorials online, and I'll be honest it's not that difficult as it looks. It's just a lot of keeping track of tiny screws and being vigilant to not to drop, stress, bend or squeeze anything that shouldn't be dropped, stressed, bent or squeezed.
Anyways, so what does this mean for my job? This means I can talk to everyone while on the go again as I used to before my phone battery fried up. As I mentioned before I use other platforms to talk to clients and other times friends and family. With my phone gone, that is limited. I had to resort to just relying on desktop and my iPad for assistance. I'm not complaining - those devices are a huge help and I'm thankful to my past self for thinking in the long run. So with my phone turning back on, I'll be active again on Instagram, Amino and other platforms I've been absent from.
To make this exciting post short, I just want to thank you all for commissioning me! You have no idea how grateful I am! I do have some projects waiting for me as well to either start or finish up so I am super excited to do that and share them here.
